Passengers inconvenienced due to flight delay at Chennai

Passengers of a Gulf Air Boeing flight to Muscat were left stranded at the airport, after the departure of their flight was delayed by about eight hours this morning, airport sources said. The flight was scheduled to leave at 7.30am today, but now it is expected to leave around 3.30pm, the sources said adding that the delay had been caused because the flight from Muscat arrived late.

However, all the 191 passengers, who had reported at 5am to board the flight, were not even provided breakfast which led them to complain to the Airports Authority of India Duty Manager, the sources said. The airlines representatives were not available for comments.
