Flights diverted from Delhi airport

A heavy congestion over the Delhi airport tonight led to the diversion of a few flights to neighbouring cities, according to airport sources.

Airport sources said the congestion led to the diversion of some domestic flights to Jaipur and Lucknow, therby delaying their arrival at the Delhi airport.

The diverted flights included two Jet Airways services from Mumbai and Raipur, they said.
The sources said efforts were being made to allow landing of international flights first.
