Bangalore-bound Indian flight grounded after technical snag


An Indian flight IC-506 bound for Bangalore returned to the capital after take-off due to a technical snag. "The Bangalore-bound plane had 139 passengers on board," said an official at the airport, saying that the pilot detected the fault in the aircraft's hydraulic system shortly after taking off at 10.29 a.m. "The plane landed safely at around 11:51 a.m. We had taken all the precautionary measures to meet any eventuality," said the official. "The engineers of the technical team are attending to the fault," he added. Later, the passengers were flown to Bangalore by another aircraft. "Another plane was provided and the passengers left for Bangalore an hour after the flight landed back," said Ashok Sharma, spokesperson of Indian.
