Mumbai bound Jet Airways flight grounded at Rajkot

At least 60 passengers were stranded at the airport at Rajkot when a Mumbai-bound Jet Airways flight failed to take-off due to a technical problem, airport officials said. The Rajkot- Mumbai flight could not take off due to some technical problem in the aircraft's engine. Efforts were on to arrange a substitute flight for the passengers, they said.

This was the second such incident involving Jet Airways at the airport here within a week. On November six, 126 passengers resorted to a protest after being stranded here for several hours when their flight developed a technical problem, prompting authorities to arrange a substitute flight.
