Jet Airways to operate Mumbai-Brussels-Newark direct flights

India's leading private airliner Jet Airways will operate a daily flight connecting Mumbai with Brussels and Newark from summer next year. This was announced last night by Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt while jointly inaugurating an Indian Exhibition 'Tejas Eternal Energy' with Congress President and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.

"I am proud to announce, in the presence of Mrs Sonia Gandhi and Naresh Goyal, Chairman of Jet Airways, that from the summer of next year on, a daily flight connecting Mumbai with Brussels and Newark will be operational," Verhofstadt said. "In the following weeks all necessary clearances will be granted," he added.
