Government approves Air Service ammendments between India & Finland
The Government has approved amendments in Air Service Agreement between India and Finland as proposed by the Ministry of Civil Aviation. As per the amendment approved, both countries shall now have the rights to designate as many airlines as they wish. The capacity provision has also been amended and designated airlines of both sides are to operate the services between the two countries within the entitlements already agreed to by the parties from time to time, an official release said. The new ASA also has the provision of cooperating marketing arrangements, which will enable the designated airlines of both sides to operate code share flights. The pricing and the aviation security clauses in the agreement have been drafted as per modern standard clauses.
