Air Deccan activates its Fog Helpline Number

Air Deccan, India's first low cost carrier announced that in December 2006 and January 2007 there could be disruption in flight schedules due to fog and poor visibility at New Delhi. There is a possibility of flights being delayed, cancelled, re-scheduled or diverted to other stations. These conditions are completely beyond the control of the airline. Owing to flight disruptions, caused by fog and poor visibility, in New Delhi this winter, Air Deccan has activated its Fog Helpline number. Air Deccan has always valued its passengers and in order to minimize the impact of these disruptions on them, the 24-hour helpline number has been activated. The Helpline number, which is 9818177008, has been displayed on its website, www.airdeccan.net. Passengers can now call the Helpline for the latest flight schedules anytime of the day or night. Apart from this, regular SMS alerts on possible delays and cancellations will be sent out to passengers throughout this period. This year Air Deccan has taken a step forward in passenger care. Unlike previous years, this year the airline will be providing refreshments to its passengers at the airport for a delay beyond two hours.
