Japan for developing Buddhist circuit

Japan will invest in the development of the Buddhist circuit in Bihar so as to create facilities of international standards.

Japan's Ambassador to India, Yasukuni Enoki, said this here Tuesday. He is on a visit to go to Bodh Gaya, Nalanda and Rajgrih, all of which are key destinations for Buddhists.

Before leaving for the holy spots, Enoki said Japan was eager to develop the area. "It is our priority," he said. "The main purpose of our visit is to find ways and means of developing the Buddhist circuit."
